If you don't agree, please don't use the site, submit the waitlist form, or use the product. These terms govern your relationship with MedStory, operated by Ashwin Zachariah.
These terms govern the MedStory marketing website, the waitlist signup, and the MedStory product itself — a personal and family health-record vault currently available to a closed beta of early users. Features, availability, and these terms may change materially as the product moves from closed beta toward a full public launch.
Joining the waitlist is not a purchase, a contract for service, or a guarantee of access. It does not create an account, reserve a specific access date, or commit MedStory to any particular pricing, feature set, or launch timeline.
Access to the MedStory product is currently limited to a closed beta. Beta access is provided on an as-is, as-available basis: features may be added, changed, or removed without notice, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, data portability, or that any particular feature will remain part of the product going forward. We may suspend or terminate beta access at our discretion, including for suspected misuse. Beta participation doesn't create any right to continued access, a specific price, or a specific feature set once MedStory publicly launches.
You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist, use this site, or use the MedStory product, including adding a family member's health information to your own account. If you don't meet this age requirement, please don't submit the waitlist form or use the site or product.
You agree not to scrape or misuse this website or the MedStory product, submit fraudulent or automated waitlist signups, upload health information you're not authorized to add on someone else's behalf, attempt to access another user's account or data, misuse the family-linking or provider-sharing features, or use the site or product for any unlawful purpose.
All content on this website and the MedStory product — text, branding, logos, design, and underlying software — belongs to MedStory or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. You retain ownership of the health documents and data you upload; using the product doesn't transfer that ownership to us.
This site and the MedStory product rely on third-party infrastructure and services, each governed by their own terms and privacy practices — including Cloudflare (website hosting), Vercel and Supabase (product hosting and account authentication), Cloudflare R2 (encrypted document storage), OpenAI and Google Gemini (AI-assisted document parsing), and Amazon SES (waitlist email delivery).
This website and the MedStory product are provided "as is" and, during the closed beta, on an as-available basis. Forward-looking statements about MedStory's future product are not guarantees, and MedStory makes no warranty as to their accuracy or timing. AI-assisted document parsing may contain errors — see "No Medical Advice" below and our How We Read Your Reports page for how the review step works.
Nothing on this website or in the MedStory product constitutes medical advice. MedStory is not a healthcare provider, doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, and doesn't recommend treatment. The product organizes and displays the health information you provide, including AI-assisted extraction from documents you upload — always verify extracted data against your original document, and always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, MedStory's liability arising from your use of this website or the MedStory product — including any inaccuracy in AI-assisted document parsing — is limited, and MedStory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. During the closed beta in particular, the product is offered without warranty of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
You agree to hold MedStory harmless from claims arising out of your own misuse of this website or the MedStory product, including uploading health information you weren't authorized to add, or violation of these terms.
Our collection and handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, not restated here.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
If a dispute arises out of your use of this website or the MedStory product, contact us at hello@themedstory.com first — we'd like the chance to resolve it directly. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, it's subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, consistent with the governing-law clause above.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will stay in full effect.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MedStory regarding your use of this website, the waitlist, and the MedStory product, and supersede any prior understanding on the same subject.
If we don't enforce a provision of these terms on a particular occasion, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver of these terms is only effective if made in writing.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law, without needing your consent.
MedStory isn't liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages or failures at third-party infrastructure or service providers, natural disasters, or other events of force majeure.
We may provide notices to you at the email address associated with your waitlist signup or MedStory product account, or by posting on this website. Notices to us should be sent to hello@themedstory.com.
Consistent with India's grievance-redressal practice for online intermediaries and anticipated DPDP Act provisions, complaints about this website can be directed to our Grievance Officer, Ashwin Zachariah, at ashwin@themedstory.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.
We may update these terms as the site, waitlist, and product evolve; material changes will be reflected here. These terms will be materially revised as MedStory moves from closed beta toward a full public launch.
